Merry Christmas!!!!!

By now, I bet most of you have heard that I had to spend the night in the hospital.  Yes, my very first Christmas with my new family.  I admit I wasn't feeling good but geeeeeesh..THE HOSPITAL!

The VET told my pawrents I have Pneumonia and Pancreatitis!!

PancreaWhat??  Then, she said I had to spend the night so I could be MONITORED!

Do you know what they do to you there??  Unspeakable things!!

Yes, they stick things in places that are only for exits!
They put a needle in my arm, hooked a bag of waters to it, then added something stinky, called AntiByeATick,  in the bags of waters.
On top of that, they made me breathe something that made smoke, then pounded on my chest..all of these combined made me cough!!!
And, worst thing of all, they did not feed me all day!!  It was Christmas Eve and I didn't get one treat!

THE NERVE!!

I just wanted you to know that I feel better and came home this morning.

Guess What! Santa Paws came to my house!

Sylvia, Peanut and Rocky..waiting for Winston!

 Shake, Shake, Shake!

Thank Dog..I'm HOME!

Mom has to make me a bland diet. Chicken and rice are cooking on the stove and it smells pretty good.

What are you having for Christmas dinner?

  1. Awwwwh, we're so thrilled you got to come home Winston. We were very worried about you. Did you know our Papa had pancreatitis when he was 21 years old? Yep, spent 10 days in the hospital. Do you have to eat special dog food now low in fat? Just curious.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day with your family!

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear you had the sickies. I'm glad you are home and feeling better. Those dogtors get pretty personal and are definitely no fun. I'm sending you a whole sled full of healing vibes. I love your holiday collar! It's pawesome and it looks like Santa Paws left you a ton of cool pressies. 3. Oh Winston...now about that pesky cough and the mistletoe issue...NOT TO WORRY...I have my trusty blender and some anti cough additives...I am wearing my nurse's outfit and hmm...I bet you've never seen me in my scrub dress have ya? Will post a pic on your FB page...it is attractive and has the most adorable pink detachable ruffle so I don't get a demerit by my nursing instructors...

So, expect me by midnight....and I love your poodle paw in red...so very festive!!!!!

    Kisses and more,

    Miss Lacie

Scruffy and Stan send their sympathies at having me as a virtual houseguest as well as your experience at the horrid vet....but they did make you better, sweet boy!!!

We had our regular kibble with a can of Honolulu Luau mixed in and it was delicious! Santa came here, too!

  5. Oh Winston. We were thinking about'cha all day long. Hoping you were home and feeling better. It was good news to read that you're in the tender (?) care of Nurse Lacie. We can quit worrying now.

Do take care of yourself. And enjoy all the special attention. We know your family is as glad to have you home as we are!

Merry Christmas night ... and all the days to follow.
